Get a Basic Understanding of Your Rifle

Course topics include: Gun safety rules, proper operation of rifles, ammunition knowledge and selection, rifle selection and storage, rifle shooting fundamentals, rifle inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety.

Additionally, students will complete live firearm training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified instructor. Students will receive the NRA guide: Basics of Rifle shooting, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Examination and receive a course completion certificate.

What To Bring

Rifle
A minimum of 50 rounds is required for this course.

*If you don’t have your own firearm or ammunition, our instructor can provide them for $35 to be charged at the range on the day of the class.
*Any ammunition or firearm that is supplied is for use at the range ONLY. No firearm and/or ammunition can be taken off property.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend a class that you signed up for. You can reschedule for a later date, or you can be refunded in full. If you give us LESS THAN 48 hours’ notice that you cannot attend a class, you can reschedule the class one time OR you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the amount you paid for the class. Once you have signed up for a class and you do not show up or give proper notice, you will not be eligible for any refund.
