Get A Basic Understanding Of Your Shotgun

Course topics include: NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, shotgun shell components, shotgun shell malfunctions, shooting fundamentals, shotgun shooting, range rules, cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development.

Additionally, students will complete live fire training on the range. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

Requirements

A minimum of 20 rounds is required – (10 rounds of 00Buckshot & 10 Rounds of Slugs)

*If you don’t have your own firearm or ammunition our instructor can provide them for $50 p/p, to be charged at the range on the day of the class.
Any ammunition or firearm that is supplied is for use at the range ONLY. No firearm and/or ammunition can be taken off property.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend a class that you signed up for. With 48 hours’ notice or more, you can reschedule for a later date or be refunded in full. With LESS THAN 48 hours’ notice, you can reschedule the class one time OR be eligible for a 50% refund of the amount paid for the class. With less than 24 hours’ notice you are not eligible for a refund. There will be a fee of $25 to reschedule for a later date. Once you have signed up for a class and do not show up or give proper notice, you will NOT be eligible for any refund.
